Dial
The wood comes from barriques used for aging the prestigious Barolo wine. This process gives the material a unique color and character. During aging, the wood absorbs the essences of the wine, creating inimitable patterns and nuances. Fugit 001 designers have transformed these characteristics into an exclusive dial, making each watch a unique piece of craftsmanship and history. Wooden discs of just 0.4 mm are made by sectioning and then pantographing the staves for a perfect fit in the case.
Case
The fugit case is entirely designed in Italy and consists of a 2-piece carrure with laterally pierced lugs, push-pull crown, and screw-down case back. Water-resistant 3 atmospheres.
Movement
001 is powered by the Miyota 9015, a self-winding mechanical movement with 24 jewels. Praised for its precision, reliability and accuracy it is further regulated in our workshop in Italy. It has a 42-hour power reserve, a frequency of 28800 vibrations per hour and hacking function that allows the second hand to stop while setting the time.

Traceability
We have selected the barrels to get the best woods directly from the wineries, which certifies us that the wood is traceable. Inside the box there's a QR code that allows you to trace the list of wines that have come in contact with the wood in each individual quadrant.
Origin of the Brand
FUGIT was born in 2023 from the idea of four friends, united by a passion for watchmaking and wine. Raised among vineyards and fascinated by the Italian wine tradition, they decided to give life to watches that celebrate the art of measuring time and the beauty of the land, combining refined design and unique materials.
